Preserve Social Security -- Scrap the Cap

Because of the income cap, individuals that make more than $113,700 a year stop paying into Social Security toward the end of the year. Removing this cap could extend the solvency of the program without cutting benefits or raising the retirement age.

Scrapping the cap will allow us to shore up Social Security for about another 75 years. It’s a step Mark Begich has been advocating for — and you can join him.
