Dear Congress,
Too many Americans depend on Social Security — most of them seniors or persons with disabilities — for the program to fall victim to a Washington battle.
Our plan is simple — scrap the cap, and ask those who are doing well to contribute on all of their earnings, just like the rest of us do.
I stand with seniors. And I support Senator Mark Begich’s plan to scrap the cap and extend the life of Social Security for another 75 years.
