Members of Congress,

This shutdown is messing with the lives of middle class families in Alaska and all across the United States.

The government needs to rein in spending, trim the fat, and come to a better budget. But this is not the way to negotiate.

I’m joining Mark Begich in calling for an immediate end to this government shutdown.
